by the way you need a plug to make a mould, as we have a few moulds around there must have been a plug of some discription....

sorry the plugs dont last. as soon as they are used more often than not they are ditched or re-cycled

most of our plugs are made here.. some are sub contracted off site.

Leeway,
Do your different length hulls have different beams? Or are they just extended off a horter hull, or shortened off a longer hull?

when i make new plugs, i don't expect to keep them as mine normally crack and break up when i remove the mould off it. if i was able to keep plugs and patterns for everything that i do, i would need a workshop 4 times the size, just to store them.

Very true with an original timber plug. but Leeway usualy cleans any wax and plastercine off, pops it back on the trailer, and tries to sell it on boatmad, or boats and outboards.

my 6.3m has a differant beam to my 7.3 and 8.3 look on

Pant um 25. do you meen one of the many boats we get in for repair or painting for customers??

i have had many makes and modles of all sorts in, for all sorts of jobs. We do more than just make ribs.
