Lifting console on BRIG Falcon

Hi,
This may sound obvious but I am unable to find a way to access the battery by lifting the console of a Falcon 4.0M. The console is hinged at mid height but I can find no way of releasing it! Any help please...its a devil getting to the battery via the hatch! Thanks

I’ve got a Falcon 450L and my console is hinged as well. I’ve got a forward facing seat in front of the console which lifts up and a circular access hatch under the steering wheel. It’s a struggle but if I open the access hatch I can reach in and find two threaded bolts that have nylon lined nuts. Just undo them and the console can lift up, although it’s not the easiest thing to do because of the steering / throttle cables but it’s manageable. My fuel tank is under my console with my battery under the bench seat.
Hope this helps, Jon
