Lifting my RIB

The hull of my Cobra 7.5 is overdue a decent clean. I've got a two post lift and some 4 tonne slings so my plan is to lift it off the trailer (carefully!) to make access that little less back breaking. I'm sure I'm not the first to do this and inevitably the slings will come into contact with the tubes so I wonder if there's a view on tubes being inflated or deflated?

Thanks in advance!

Tubes inflated if it fits.

If they are deflated you run a higher risk of pinching a flap of loose tube somewhere.

A 7.5M cobra is quite wide, it must be just fitting between the uprights, but I suppose that means you'll have the arms spread out further down each side of the boat.

It's going to be a squeeze but just wide enough, appreciate the response.

I regularly lift boats on a 2 post lift, just set the pads under the chines or on a long block under the chines if you prefer then lift like a car it's very easy just check the balance front to back before you go too high, no need for slings, you can move the pads to a different location to get the entire hull cleaned
