They look pretty crap for the money to be honest. If you're after decent lobster pots just politely ask any local fisherman. Provided you're not going to be going putting thousands of pots out on their 'patch' they'd probably be glad to sell you a couple of pots, especially ones that need a bit of TLC. However there seem to be a lot of folk around that think that pots a a free for all. Be mindful that some peoples livelihoods depend on what they catch so these so called 'environmental activists' (aka morons) and general thieves messing with other peoples pots is not welcomed.

Not saying its not going to work but Depending what size the mesh is you could end up with the bait getting nicked by smaller crabs & the like before the big ones get inside .
If using on the Yorkshire coast a regulation size escape gap would be required too .
