Log book for bias please help ?

Hi my friend has jut got a rib that's 4 years old but did not come with any paper work just wonted to know is there like a log book for it like cars have ?

4 years old and no paperwork? It might be stolen. THere's no logbook, but at that age you'd expect the original sales paperwork.

It's a old police rib that got sold though a action but had no paper work with it can u sell a boat on after with no paper work ?

Got the purchase order from the company and details but no log book kind of thing can he use them to sell that boat

You don't get logbooks with boats-as long as he's got the auction paperwork stating that VAT has been paid he's fine.

Where do you findex police ribs being sold?

Depends where that particular force disposes of stuff. Local auctions sometimes, or Ramco down in Southampton have them occasionally. They aren't usually in very good condition though.

Yeah my friend picked one up in Southampton I work for coastline marine so Im gonna do any work on it that needs doing if any I have not seen it yet but thanks again for your help I have only worked on other peoples boats never sold one lol was a bit clueless about the paper work do u know any good site to sell on ?
