London Boat Show 2015: Adventure, Pioneers & Innovation
It looks like National Boat Shows might be upping their game a bit after the rather poor reception that London has received over the last few years.
"Show organisers are pushing the creative boundaries in the exhibition and event world to create a concept never before seen by the marine industry. This year’s Show will bring to life the adventure to be had on the water. It will capture the imagination of visitors and create a memorable experience."
Very cool video, slick but superficial web site, fatuous quiz (but hey, I'm an adventurer so that's OK). I'm not really convinced that ExCel will look or feel significantly different to normal, but it sounds like it might be fun.
Recent years I have attended to have meetings but never enjoy location and believe the organisers won't change views just with a new video.
Being a BMF member w get asked for feedback but each time I have told them some home truths nothing changes, so guess bigger powers and budgets control this show
Where adventure starts
The London Boat Show entrance will be nothing short of awe-inspiring. Enter the Show through a dramatic wall of rain, then plan your day with the technologically groundbreaking digital information wall, highlighting the must see talks, seminars, new products and boating personalities at the Show on your chosen day. Navigating the Show has never been easier.
An exhilarating 4D journey
No matter what your boating experience or choice of craft, weather is the one thing that connects us all. Experiences at sea or inland are made all the more memorable, be it a glorious day on the water or the most challenging of environments. Head to the London Boat Show’s 4D Experience and find yourself immersed in six epic environments out at sea where you can take in the atmosphere, temperature, scent, wind and soundscape of the globe from the Arctic to the Tropics and everything in-between.
Innovation will shine
The London Boat Show will be a place to inspire. Plans to enable you to get started on your next adventure at the Show are underway with details of yet another exciting attraction to be revealed in the coming weeks.
Stop off for an indulgent lunch at the Show’s very own restaurant located in amongst the powerboats or complete your journey through the Show with a well-earned drink at the infamous Guinness Bar. And for the first weekend, extend your visit with a trip to the brand-new London Classic Car Show and also the Telegraph Cruise Show.
