Looking for a new family Rib

Well I’m thinking of selling my Osprey Viper & getting some thing more family friendly!
We have 3 kids from 4 to 8 years old too small to use jockey seats so I would like,

1: bench seat integral to built in splash well

2: jockey seats for 5/6 when they get older

3: sun bed up front to keep the swmba happy!

4: Size so I can still tow it & launch by my self (if possible!)

5: a cabin would be great, but will blow the budget!

6: sky pole/ A frame & boarding ladder.

Would love to have some thing to start doing some longer Cruising in!
Having had the 5.75 Viper for many years I do not want to go to some thing that will handle like a pig!
I have got some ideas already but would like to here other people’s thoughts.

Budget around £20K so will have to be second hand!

Nick

Nick does it really need to be a Rib? A hardboat will tick a heck of a lot of those boxes and you'll get a big lump of gelcoat for that money!
http://www.boatsandoutboards.com/view/F116813/

Failing that what about a Cobra.

(I'll still talk to you, we still have something in common! )

After coming up to four years of having my RibEye, I'm still extremely pleased with it and would thoroughly recommend them especially for your criteria.

That one would drink more than George Best, its a 250HP Efi rather than an Optimax.

Is the EFI a bit of a gas guzzler then?
I thought being fuel injection would make it a bit better on the wallet!

Speak to Stu (Rogue Wave). He has a big beamy 6.8m Cobra he is selling on behalf of one of his customers. Has a nice yamaha 200hp HPDI engine on the back, decent indespension trailer, and the hull is cracking. It's up for £7k, but needs new tubes and consoles, so buy it for £7k, get the tubes done for £3k, then you've got £10k to spend on consoles, toys, getting it just right etc, and you'll end up with a big, wide, and personalised rib at the end of it!

True, but with that sort of budget you could hand it over to someone like kieron at ribshop or Ocean Quay ribs and let them do the lot! Just gives you a more customisable end result...

Should be fine, buy a big hardboat to go with it and who knows, even the French might see you!

Everyone told me my Suzuki 225efi would be as thirsty as hell because it's not one of the latest 4 strokes or high pressure systems - and yet I find it no worse than other people's claims.
