i'm a bit out of touch so these could have been bought over / closed; the other choices used to be:

Eurocraft
SIT Ltd - Preston

I'm guessing the usual suspects of Tilley (Devon), Henshaws (Yeovil-ish), Ribshop (Southampton), Barnet Marine (N of London), Rodella (Poole) are all a bit too far away for you?

How about Humber themselves (obviously NE not NW) or there were a couple of ex Tornado/XS guys who were doing retubes in Yorkshire.

You’ll struggle to beat Dave Cowal on price/quality.

XS RIBs is part of Barnet Marine. We had Sea Fury retubed by them.

They quoted me a few years ago, but wanted the boat derigged and drained of fuel so they could work on the hull upside down which I'd never heard of before! (No repairs, just straight forward tube replacement).

Had mine done last year, left the engine, front storage and fuel onboard. Just removed all the loose clobber.

Great job

Makes life easier for them if they can flip the boat over instead of working underneath. Probably a better job if they do flip it over as its far easier to roll the tubes on from above. Easier with smaller boats but gets less benefit as the boats get bigger & becomes impossible once you get to big ribs

From experience I would have no hesitation in recommending Dave. He listens to everything you want ( a few tweaks to the 'add-ons' of the original tubes )
Any minor repairs to the flange included without charge or question .... the final result probably better than the original Picton/Henshaws. An example being the stripes fully fitted under the strakes rather than terminating above it .....
