Lowrance 7 v Dragonfly 6

Hi, I’m new to the group and to ribbing so sorry if I am going over old ground. I just got my first RIB and I’m looking to get set up for day trips with the family. Looking at what’s in my budget (low as possible) it seems I can choose between a new Lowrance Hook 7 which comes with transducer, or a dragonfly 6 (used) without. Any thoughts?

New Hook with all the bits, no brainer.
Age is everything with marine electronics. We have the Hook 5 on the SIB, good bit of kit. You need the correct charts to get the best out of any unit, look for end of season bundle deals from the main suppliers, Cactus, Force4, Marine Superstore etc.
