But if you have a trailer do you not have to buy 2 parking clocks
Could get a mite pricey.

I stand to be corrected but I'm not sure the long term clock is valid in the slipway car park. Perhaps someone can confirm?

I find the best tactic is to get there really early - 0730 or so. That way there is usually some on street parking available for free.
The clock is valid.

Be firm but polite, usually works for me, just be ready to duck the booms
If that doesn't work, I find a firm uppercut works wonders

This may be a point- but if you drive out just past the Mayflower pub there is plenty of free parking in most of the adjacent roads. I often see trailers parked there - in the wide roads they are certainly no problem. Anyone who has any difficulty do contact and I will offer some advice where the best places are to park.

Lymington is a great place to launch - many places visit - and to stop afterwards.

'Ere Landlord - you are in the big boat business. Who the devil are these chumps - and can you recognise which boat it is? Quite amusing though!

Bit concerned you've got that video

If I had been half way across the Atlantic and a deck hand had appeared on deck like that he'd have been tied up, put in the tender and towed behind on a 100m tow line

Looks like an early Bannenberg design - don't recognise the yacht though.

The clocks are only valid in town village car parks. They are not valid in coastal car parks.

Check here for confirmation

http://www.newforest.gov.uk/index.cfm?articleid=2088

You can however pay over the phone.

You do need to pay double if you have s trailer.

Wrong, wrong, sorry...

Long stay clock is valid in coastal car parks.

Same problem with trailer still applies though.

If I remember correctly...

For car and trailer, all day, I paid £24. If I read that web link right I could pay £50 for two tickets and then park all day as often as I like over a quarter.

If my logic is right that looks good value
But then again, if my logic is wrong.....
