Hi Tom,

It was absolutely lovely out there last night wasn't it? I was with the group of guys from Starcross Fishing & Cruising Club. We caught about 30 Mackerel from my boat (and and undersize Gurnard that we repatriated) and over a hundred as a group. I wish I had a net with me, the Whitebait were out there in abundance too! Looking forward to my tea tonight.

Lovely boat you've got there btw!

Cheers,

Dan

No wonder the MCS has moved mackerel to the "we're a bit concerned about the stocks" category! Are you sure you haven't exceeded your quota

I've noticed the mackerel are smaller this year so far- put quite a few back.

No worries. Have no fear that any will be going waste. There were twenty of us out there last night and we all shared them out equally when we got back to base.

Not sure if I'll be out tonight Tom, but will definitely say hi next time I see you.

Cheers,

Dan
