Made to measure fuel tank.
I've got 2 x 22 ltr portable fuel tanks under my jockey seat and it's a p.i.t.a to keep stopping and filling them up with jerry cans when out cruising so.... I was looking at 70 litre fuel tanks on the interweb which would give me a generous (approx) 100 mile + range.
The ones I was looking at are ... 80 x 35 x 30 -70 ltr and most of them are all the same hight & width but are longer for holding more litres.
The problem I have is the width at the top of the jockey console is only 29 cm but widens out further down so if I could get one at 29 cm either hight or width it would be no problem but that's not the case.
Can you get custom made plastic and if so who makes them or do I have to go aluminium or s/s. or as a last resort have my jockey console cut out and re glassed.
Any help and ideas much appreciated

Make sure you are sitting down first though!
Is the cheapest/simplest option to replace the existing Jerry cans with portable tanks (and perhaps a multiway hose/valve)?

Good point TSM I already thought of that and there should be enough room left looking at hight sizes of tanks available 👍

😂 expensive then I presume Poly.
When out playing with the bigger boy's up on the West coast of Scotland we are doing minimum of 80 miles and the 2 x 22 ltr portable tanks are not enough so a 70 litre would be ideal.
I did have the choice to have one put in when I had Imogen made......but hey....you live and learn 😯

But adding another 22L portable (or a 30 - I think they are available) would give you 66-74L of total fuel, take up no more space than the existing Jerry cans but be much easier to use than the existing approach of refilling at sea.
Of course, what you need for playing with the big boys... ... Is a new boat!

To be honest Poly....Steve's "Imogen" does pretty well when it comes to keeping up!...even in some stiff chop, and some bigger stuff we've encountered on the West Coast in the last few seasons....She was ALWAYS there or there abouts
The new Wing back Seating and Robust A-Frame have been a big pluss too!..

I don't think they do custom built petrol tanks, only water, grey and diesel.
