Mainz in Germany on the Rhine
Just back from a weekend trip to Mainz on the River Rhine.
Whilst looking out of the hotel balcony which overlooks a marina there, there was a Rib running what looked like trips up the Rhine.
Very big, 3 large outboards, 10m+, didnt get the manufacturer but looked like a Revenger 34 type.
Obviously there is no speed limit on the Rhine as they left the Marina each time at full pelt, much to the annoyance at one time to some canoeists!!
