Dan, I believe that there are three non-stepped Scorpion mould shapes - the 6.5 (no longer made - a friend of mine had the last one) the 7.5 to 9.5 and the wider 10m. Then there are the stepped hulls, which I guess will have different moulds again.

just been and seen this boat, guy apparently took it away then brought it back to lymington, it has changed somewhat since i last saw it, it now has poorly painted non slip deck and bucket seats are definatly gone. nice hull and tubes, and good deck layout

quite an impresive piece of kit, dog poo seats, but rapiers seem to be a bit of an unknown quantity when it comes to build, history and resale..

am i right??

The rest is history.

Some things never change.

And The Answer Is

Hi there, the boat was kept in the Mediterranean. I have never tried to see what its top speed would be. However, the Garmin GPS system has recorded speeds of 92 knots, which equals 101.2 mph.
Thanks for looking! Best regards,

Shite loads more, like at least twice at WOT i would have thought

Good price though. I emailed him about viewing and received no reply, i still think it might be a little suspect in some way.
