Many Thanks

Many thanks to the following people who have been really helpful - apologies if I have forgotten anyone!!!

Nasher
Paul Tilley
Bob - Suzuki dealer in Guernsey
Erin

And of course to everyone who has believed me and stuck up for me.

Extra special mention must go to John Price at Quinquari for LENDING me a HUGE triple axle trailer for a full week to get my boat back. Hell of a nice bloke - very professional and a most impressive operation. He didn't warn me about the roads where he lives though - driving to Weymouth was a bit on an anti climax after St Davids - Solva and Newgale. How the hell he gets those monster Humbers down those lanes is beyond me!!!

Of course a trailer was supposed to have been supplied with the boat....

That would have been an interesting cross-chanel passage with trailer attached!

The eagle has landed! Congratulations Codprawn.

Wish you happy times.

Looking forward to the warts and all story... Are you expecting the trailer around 2008?

Cheers Codders, I hope it all lives up to expectation. Must be extremely satisfying to have actually got it home after all the grief and anxiety.

Whatever Vince if you can live with that excuse, fine. Dont expect any more favours from me and dont bother calling again.

The reason i didnt return your calls as this was never anything to do with me and it got to a point where it wasnt me you needed to speak to. Aso it was costing me time and money running around helping you when there was no way i was going to get paid.

i am not going any further with this on here but it would have been nice to know my efforts were appreciated.

Enjoy your boating.

Initially they were - if you had made it CLEAR what was going on I would have understood you were in no way to blame.

the pot calling the kettle black i think here, codprawn all your posts and information on your boat have been one constant riddle with no one really knowing if you are genuine or just a dreamer.......my view of course but i suspect a few others feel the same way...

anyway good luck with the boat and i suspect you will now have the chance to put all your good advice into action

I don't want the Hugh/Codders thing to kick off again anymore than anyone else. However, I gave Codprawn the benefit of doubt for many months, but his constant witterings and feable excuse making brought me to the conclusion that he is either a complete tit of a bloke or a total fantasist. He's probably a combination of both. And, sorry, but I can't muster any enthusiasm for the possible arrival of his 'new' boat. Because, I'm expecting that to disappear into excuse riddled Welsh cyber space anytime soon.

i gave you my advice which you didn't take and just carried on in your own manner, so at that point rather than wasting 26p a minute for no gratitude what so ever i decided to walk away and did notr want to be involved in any way further.

So sorry if you feel your free slave hadn't been there for you to the bitter end but you start to take the piss, pretty much what you did with Bob.

if you want to talk about it in more detail on here i am quite happy to but personally i thought your bitterness would pass on to me at some stage.

Im merely a bystander and have no idea of the extent of the problems at Prosports end but this boat seems to have taken 2yrs to materialise, surely Vince has every right to be a little bitter, unless of course the problems were his end.
