I'd like to add a pair of waterproof speakers to my centre console and I had the idea to hide a marine amplifier away which would be driven by mobile phone connected via Bluetooth.

Has anyone got any recommendations or can point out any caveats (besides the obvious need to keep the phone dry)?

Want something of reasonable audio quality without breaking the bank - although I have no fixed limit I thought to spend about £100. Is it just a stupid idea?

Jbl waterproof flip 4, buy a waterbottle mount for a bike and clamp it to a handle or some rail on seats or something. 80 quid and just take it home when done.

I use the above sometimes on my rib and you can hear it no problem behind the windshield.

If you are feeling flush you can put a pair on later if you want and still have the ability to use them at home.
