Massive seas
Truely massive seas today! Might be something today with the moon being so close to the Earth, but with the Southly winds the standing waves around Old Harry and Durlston Head were impressive to see and slowly punch through.
As usual, the Parker was its normal impressive self, throwing aside the seas and giving huge confidence to those on board.
We had the "artist" on board today having a recci, for his filming of the coast (see flares).
Some of the clients got some great pictures, will add when sent them

Yes big waves, I popped out for a while today, I actually thought waves were bigger on Saturday. Didn't go any further than swanage along coast, my rib will cope reasonably well with waves it does tend to ride them rather than crunch through like your Parker which vie seen going through big stuff. I think weight has an advantage.

I went through all that to fish at Dancing Ledge. 30 mins drifting in it trying to bait hooks and fish made me very sick. I blame the mild migraine I had before I even left the house. We got shelted at Chapmans Pool for a bit then headed back guite slowly being flung around like a cork. Would have liked to have proper seats in the boat so we could have given it some power really. I saw a tiny tiny bathtub fishing boat off Old Harry battling its way (barely moving) through the huge standing waves. I felt pretty sorry for the 3 blokes on that, certainly didn't look safe or comfortable. Did anyone else see them? Probably about 1pm they were trying to head in.
