Maximum motorweight for Ribcraft 4.8 ?

Hello everybody,
does anybody know what's the maximum motorweight for that boat ?
Can't find that on the Ribcraft site, they only say 60 hp should be the maximum power on it.(I don't think so).
I have now 109kg at the transom, and I think it could have 15-20hp more with nearly the same weight at the stern. Is that possible with an older 2 stroke or not ?
Cheers
Eric

Suggest forgetting the guesswork and conjecture...and ask Ribcraft directly

They are rated to 60hp max, but Ribcraft have rigged some with 75hp E-tecs, as the weight of these motors is acceptable. As said earlier though, best to ask Ribcraft before fitting a motor above 60hp.

Thanks,
with 160kg at the transom it might be a little bit sternheavy.

I would ask Ribcraft direcly, if the telephon call from Germany wouldn't be so expensive.

Thank you all.

Cheers
Eric

I know Ribcraft weren't keen on fitting the first generation Soozook DF60, due to its excessive weight, despite being within the hp limit of the RC4.8.

a few weeks ago there was another RC4.8 sold with an 75hp Mariner 2Stroke, i saw the selling photos and i wondered how heavy she looked at the stern.

That was why i did that question.

I mean 160 kg might be a little heavy, too.

Thank you all

Eric
