It's about 1m across the flat deck the rear 2/3rds of the boat.

In theory you could cut into the void front and back to route under deck without too much trouble.

Well I found a warm shed yesterday and gave the tubes a good going over & thorough clean.

Here is her new home.

I'll probably finish this project off in 10 weeks time but it would rather suit me to sell as a "finish at home" project; see ad in bits & pieces section.

McMillan donor RIB

Thanks guys; I'm really pleased with it too.

This has certainly been a project for satisfaction not financial gain but he end result was worth it.

Tube cleaning is a combination of fairy power spray & a non-stick pan scourer (not a scotch bright as I have seen suggested) then hypalon thinners (toulene) on stubborn areas.

Oh and elbow grease.

Tony - The only console remotely ready to sell as any use would be the one in this thread. I don't really want to sell it until I know if anyone wants it with this boat in afraid.

So to give you all an update.

We have set about building a console, lean post and anchor locker which are awaiting a layer of glass and gel all look really good. Pictures to follow.

The boat is being fitted out as safety boat for swimming and rowing events, lots of storage and visibility is needed. It's only having a 50hp on the back as most of the time it is sat at idle.

A picture to wet the appetite Click image for larger version
