Members in Essex ??

I'm just wondering if there are many members of Ribnet that are Essex based, and if there are so where you do most of your ribbing. Is there a regular meeting for all those living in this neck of the woods.

Hi Grumps . I'm Hornchurch based , and when Spring is back with us I'll be out and about from from Burnham or maybe launching at Woolwich to get out onto the Thames . See you around !

Grumps - very good question and I had been wondering the same. I do most of my boating from either Brightlingsea, Walton (launching from Titchmarsh marina) and Burnham (launching from the Yacht harbour). It would be good to get a group together for a few planned cruises just like the solent lot seem to do on a regular basis. There are plenty of rib owners in the area as I have seen a number of boats around the Blackwater/Harwich areas.
Hopefully this can be the start of an east coast cruising club!

The Essex Massive!!!

I am located near to Chelmsford and sail on the Blackwater near Osea where i use the clubs Rib.

Got our own one coming next month and will probably launch from Bradwell or Burnham.

When we had our rib, we used to run out of Levington. Great all states slip and a cheap overnight mooring for cash

I,ve been using levinton for the past five years as well as Mersea Island will have My Pacific 22 in the water for the beginning of new season so will see some of you i hope

My boat is stored and launched from the Park & Ride at Brightlingsea. Cruising ground has been the Colne, Mersea and lower reaches of the Blackwater this season. Hoping to go further afield from next spring

I tend to use Brightlingsea or Bradwell and am out proabbaly once a month in that area, so would be interersted if anyone organised anything, the rest of the time I tend to go south :-)
