Mercury Ocean Runner 430 RIB

Am looking at this model in hypalon for a first RIB. Any experience on quality or other issues?

Also looking at a Yamaha 25hp verse 40hp. The cost difference is around a 1k usd. For a 14ft rib will the 25 work or should I be thinking 40. I will be using this for spearfishing/freediving. So figure a console and seat and 3 people plus weights guns etc. I don't want to under power it and not sure if the 25 will be too little.

also any preferences for Yamaha over Mercury motors? any experience on what manufacture is better?

with the people and weights in, i'd steer clear of 25. on a 4-5m boat a 25 will get you up on the plane and be "ok" if alone. Stick anyone else on board and it will be working its guts out. You would be much better with a 40. It would balance the boat out well.
