Mercury Opti 115Hp - fuel usage

Evening. A favour please.

Does anyone have any decent fuel consumption figures for a Mercury 115Hp Opti on a 6m RIB when under significant load at slow speed towing another craft (say 3 tonnes worth). Am in contact with EP Barrus just wondered whether anyone had personal experience or perhaps had come across a website with such info.

Thanks, Paul

Hi Paul
Had a 115 Opti for a number of years, a great engine.
However, they don't like slow speed running. Until we got to 10kts+, the fuel consumption was not pretty. Whilst it was on a 6m RIB, I never got to tow anything that heavy!
