So after several tedious long months of a little here a little there the first half of the pilothouse is complete. Its mounted to the floor. and all the electronics and steering are in. We took the boat out for a daytrip to the islands and I have to say I couldn't be more pleased.
Here it is midway through the build. I'm just starting to put the gauges in.
The hole in the middle is for crawl space. The windshield & roof is the 2nd half of the project. I of course want to take baby steps in completing this as it is my first.
Who says you can't put a pilothouse on a 5.4!!
I plan to document the whole thing on a blog from start to finish.
