Mildew marks on yellow tubes?

I have spotty marks like mildew on the cones of my yellow rib where they poke out from the covers. Can't shift them. Any ideas?

Thanks, Bruce

Autoglym motor cycle cleaner or engine cleaner does work also.

i use a rough pad to rub the CIF in with, try rubbing it in and leave it for a bit to soak in, then rinse off with water. i find that using a spray on polish helps to keep the muck and mildew off for longer

I use Polymarine inflatable boat cleaner, t takes everything off my tubes. Spray on, wait 1 minute then wash off with water. For stubborn marks rub with soft brush after 30sec then wash off. Expensive but works a treat.

I'm with Biff on this one, this is what we do 6 days a week and nothing will completely get rid of them. We do a mould removal kit that helps improve matters but even that won't get rid.

I'm with the pro's on this one.

I've got grey tubes, which are fine, but the yellow and white trim sections are a bit mildewy.

Nothing I've tried gets it off - (Rib Revive, bathroom mildew remover, acetone, TFR, etc) Someone on another thread recommended grade 600 wet and dry - tried a small section with grade 800 (gently) and I think all you're likely to do is take the surface off the hypalon... Just tried cif with a rough cloth and that doesn't work for me either.

If there is a guaranteed successful way to do it, of course I'd be interested.
