Missing Divers 28th July Holyhead CG ?

Hi,

I heard an awful mayday on Sunday relating to 2 missing divers via Holyhead Coast Guard... I've not been able to find any info since...

Does anyone know if they were found ok ?

It's an amazing service provided by the lifeboat service when you look at the work that they do !
Nice to hear the divers were found & well.

Remembering as well that over 90% of the men and women involved in the RNLI are volunteers and that the Institution and other Independent Lifeboats are funded by charitable donations

Great news ! Thanks for that !

I watched Holyhead RNLI drag a 32ft yacht of rocks on Saturday.... They made it look easy. So good to know we've got them watching our backs out there !

If anyone's feeling generous then MustRib from on here - now infamous for his swim on the way over to the Round Ireland Challenge and subsequent airlift back onto his boat is raising money for the RNLI:

Andy Proudfoot is fundraising for RNLI - Royal National Lifeboat Institution

we were onboard holyhead lifeboat saturday morning for a stormforce open day, then saw it in action as you say hauling off that yacht. im guessing the yacht didnt have too much damage as it made its own way into holyhead afterwards.
i had a brilliant evening saturday doing saftey boat cover for some divers just outside the skerries as the sun was going down!
