MK II GT cone repair help

The hard rubber like cone ends on my Zodiac are badly cracked and leak. i would rather not try to remove and replace. Any advice on repair? Can the ends be patched the same as the tubes? The crack is large enough to insert a tube to add tire sealant or other sealer if that may be an option. thanks for any suggestions.

Pictures?

How fast is the leak?

Do not try to repair the boat with random products. They will not hold air and will interfere with doing a proper repair.

Yikes. The part is too disintegrated to be patched over. It should be removed and replaced.

I thought that might be the case. I have been looking for replacement parts and instructions on this forum and elsewhere but have found nothing. I may be using the wrong terminology. Thanks for the input.
