MOD disposals

Where can you buy ex mod ribs? After many searches I can't find anything other than trucks.
Any help would be good.

Actually, it appears Ramco are now doing it.

However, I'm not quite sure what funny psychedelic happy pills they must be taking given the price they are asking for this 4.7 Searider:-

http://www.ramco.co.uk/uploaded/stoc...onSeaRider.pdf

I reckon given the tubes, there's a digit too many on that price.

I think thats really good value for money, but not as good as my 5.4 searider, 80 yam 2st gpsmap 500c and icom radio and yours for the bargain price of £10,000+vatnot that i am vat registered, i will just add 1750 to the price

It would be safe to say that Ad verifies what I have heard about MOD Surplus boats - if they're selling them, chances are they'll need a fair bit of work!

(I phrase that a bit more politely than the version I heard!)

Those SR4.7s are rare old birds (especially with foam toobs).

Phoned Ramco to confirm the price and pointed out you could buy a new base model ex vat for another £500 on top of their price to which I was informed this was one of 6 prototypes produced for the fishery protection fleet which he quoted as costing 30k new each however the only difference would appear to be the console and internal fuel tanks
