Don't forget that the auto style crimp connectors are not designed for the marine environment - we use the heatshrink and glue connectors on everything and they are available from Wurth and others - very expensive, but nothing compared to the value of the boat and the failure of your electrics when it all goes wrong!

accepted I save money buy slipping an O ring and heat shrink toob on the cable. I do my crimping, NB DHD with a superior Crimp tool, then I spray a little bit of spray contact adhesive on the assembly, slide the o ring up to the connector base and the heatshrink over everything Apply heat and stand back and tell myself how clever I am.

Best idea so far I'm in the lead shame I cant win the prize
