The current issue of RIB magazine carries an article I wrote about a trip I made to Mont St. Michel in February this year. I just want to point out a bad caption error on page 53 where my boat is shown tied to a pontoon with the heading "Archangel moored alongside the slipway on the north-east side of the mount." Actually, this photo shows my boat alongside the refuelling pontoon in St. Peter Port harbour, Guernsey (I've attached the correct photo to this thread). There are no facilities for boats whatsoever at Mont St. Michel, nor are any planned within the current engineering scheme to lower the sea bed and divert the river Couesnon. The photo in the article gives the impression that you can just turn up, tie alongside and Bob's your uncle and I wouldn't want anyone thinking this is the case.
