Mooring up (short stays) around the Solent?

Hi,

New to RIB's but just had 15 years with a sailing cruiser, and was wondering what mooring options for a 6.5m RIB around the popular places in the Solent. I could always use marina's as I have in the past, but was wondering if there were any other recommendations for places where you could moor up short stay to get ashore for some lunch. Any advice on Cowes, Beaulieu, Portsmouth Harbour, Bembridge and Yarmouth would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Andrew

In Cowes you can moor up in front of harbour commissioners office adjacent to Red Funnel jetty
