Mounting motor on new RIB: On centre, or offset?

I need to drill the transom on a brand new RIB, to install an outboard motor.
I understand some install them off centre to counteract prop torque-steer.
Opinions please. Thanks.

It looks pants if nothing else. I had this dilemma when remounting engine which was offset and didn’t counteract torque also. I went with racers advise and put it centre and mounted my heavy stuff on the right. Helm, battery, oil etc. Flys as straight as an arrow now.

If engine is too low it can also cause more torque lean. think about that too.

Preffer to sit motor right at middle transom and move seat, console bit to the starboard side to counteract torque and avoid the combo to balance to port side.

Happy Boating

Thanks guys. I'll be using a 50 HP with a tiller, and I'll sit on the tube, so maybe it will work out.
