Mr 'Techno 40'...

Good Sir saw you browsing the forum last night, as you registered yesterday and haven't said hello I'd like to say welcome aboard and I am sure everyone else will be along to say words to similar effect

Don't suppose this is your boat??
http://rib.net/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1644

I'd offer friendly advice, but be careful the guys on this forum have all lost it, some never had it, the rest stay quiet

Welcome

Hi Techno,

I can only reiterate what Tw has already said "Welcome To Ribnet".

I am very impressed with your craft, it is a wonderfull piece of engineering & I bet those engines sound fantastic.

Are you intending to bring it over to the Ribnet meeting in Plymouth?

I do hope so

Regards
Kevin

Hey Andy, had a call a couple of minutes ago from a guy asking if I had a Seatek for your boat, he reckons you've popped one, is this correct.

Oh, and as to his question, I did, but I sold it a couple of weeks ago!

Ok Dirk, now that you have blown our anonimity, who are you and how do you know one of our crew??

As for the Seatek engine, what type was it, how did you come by it and how much did it go for. What condition was it in?

Regards
Techno Crew

I would pm you, but you have not enabled this function.

The motor was a 10.3 litre Bi Turbo, similar to the pair in your boat, assuming they haven't been changed from when I last went in it. It was not fresh, but was in A1 condition. It has gone abroad, and I think it's unlikely to be for resale. As for price, lets just say rather a lot, I don't know what Mrs PM would have to say about it. It came to me on a long twisted route, but I believe it started its travel from two rather famous Italian brothers!! Can't tell you any more than that, customer confidentiality etc.

Out of interest, would I be correct in thinking that "Techno 40" is more than one person?

We have opened up the PM for you.

And yes Techno 40 is more than one person hence the 'We' rather than 'I'
