My Avon SR4 is coming along nicely

Wish I had an A-Frame but good luck finding one here. I put an Atwood 12 gallon fuel tank in the front and a 12' hose to the motor. Replaced the control cables and got the motor running fantastic. Adding a fish finder today, and once I fix a broken bolt on the mounter mount, I plan to add a rectifier or something to charge a battery for lights, sonar and accessories. Also adding some LED light strips for navigation, LED work lights just above the deck, and outlets to charge electronics and run portable underwater LED lights for diving and fishing.

I would love to but I think it would be crazy expensive. I'm an actor on a serious budget. I bought the boat with the carbs seized and some parts broken for cheap and have been restoring it over the last couple of months as I find parts. Tubes were perfect, but the motor took a lot of work. Runs great now.

I'm a serious spearo but also scuba dive with my wife, and we also hoop net for lobster and fish a bit. Would be so nice to have the A-Frame for lights, VHF antenna, rack for my spearguns and a place to hang a little portable shower bag. I plan to use the boat for crossing the 25 miles or so from San Pedro to Catalina when conditions are good.

you've got the right rib for it, I had a little cruise around Anglesey a couple of months back, about 65miles, cracking day out, tad lumpy in places but lots of smiles

Never received your PM but sent you one. I'm in California so that might be an issue.

Just find a local fabricator, make a single steel hoop and have it powder coated if on budget.

Had her out tonight lobster hoop netting in LA Harbor. Just order strip lighting and a weather proof Blue Sea 6 station switch. Gonna install some LED strip lights. Red/green and white nav lights but also gonna run red all around the inner hull just below the tubes on a switch for night, another row warm white below that for when I want decent light, and put in 12v ports for running my portable LED underwater dive and night fishing lights and charging electronics.
