My new RIB & Powerboat Training UK

Hi,

Picked up my searider 5.4 yesterday, with 90 Yamaha on the back.
Took out on a lake today for an hour to check all was working OK before taking her down to the coast - better safe than sorry! Went like a dream. Made 35 knots with two up and fuel tank low. Now just have to get out there using her properly.

Thanks to the guys at Powerboat Training UK for the PBII and SRC courses. Dan, Simon and Keith were great, and thanks to Paul for the useful advice on future courses etc.

There might be a couple of pics attached if I worked out how to do it right!
Need ot get some bits and pieces Saturday, but see a trip round Brightlingsea way coming on Sunday alll being well.

Cheers again to all at PTUK.

Neil

Thanks for the mention and it was good to see you back for your VHF course. Will hopefully see you in the future on further courses.

Good luck with the boat.

Regards

Simon

Resize them first

http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...ertoySetup.exe

Install this - then just select the pics you want - right click - select "small" and job done - you can do a load of files at once if you want.

Then just browse to the new smaller files and upload.

Good luck with it

Cheers Paul,

David might have impressed on me what a great boat the 5.4 is, yes! But i was looking at quite a few.

It came down to the searider based on value for money! It's pointless me spending a £10-£15k on a boat until I know I'll be able to use it when I want, and being in Switzerland makes that a bit of an unknown quantity! I figure I'll not lose much on this one, so if time is not readily enough available, it's not a problem. then when i return to UK in 2008 (assuming i do return), i can always upgrade.

Cheers

Neil
