Mylor

Hi All

I just wondered if anybody could tell me if there is a jetty at Mylor. I am thinking of heading down there in the Summer for a Holiday but I have to do a single handed launch so I need to be able to tie the boat up for a few minutes while moving the car and trailer.

I used the slipway many years ago but was not on my own.

Cheers
Pete

Hi

There is a pontoon but you can only tie up close to the slipway as the rest is for hire boats.
Mollers on here can tell your more he's a local

Yeah, you'll be fine. try to avoid low water, especially springs and Pontoon Pete.

Hi

Thanks for the info. Looks like it should be ok. I remember it was a nice slipway and they used to have a box which you put your payment in !!. As I said it was a long time ago.

Nope. Launching is FOC, parking isn't. You'll need to find the attendant as you'll require a sticker for trailer. It's a tidy set-up. Also avoid gig launch/recovery operations, they think that they own the place as with every other gig club in every other port.
