Narrowed the search to Ribeye 650S or Cobra 6.8

Hi

I have been activily looking for a 6.5 m rib, I have been unable to source a Ribcraft for my budget of circa €20k, at the moment the options are a 650S Ribeye with sometoys and a 150 Yamaha 4 stroke all 2006, and a 2006 Cobra with a 250 mercury in good nic, Both ribs are well maintained, so any opions, will the cobra deliver much more for all the extra HP, or will I benefit more from the fuel saving with yamaha, what speed are cruising and WOT for both?

The rib will be used for cruising, sometimes with family, top speed not a major factor but I'm used to spinning home at 30 kts when light is fading.

Budget wise, the ribeye is closer to my comfort area of spending, with the cobra probably going to cost 5k more.

Another similar boat is Thomas's Ribtec 655 with Yamaha 150- great boat and a sad reason for him selling it. Think price mark is close to your budget. check it out on for sale section
