We are both pleased and excited to finally launch the ‘National Used Rib Show’ to be held from the 30th March – 1st April 2012. The 2012 show is in association with Boats and Outboards who have been fantastic support; helping plan and organise the show so far.

The show’s location has been selected as the MDL run Sparkes Marina on Hayling Island. Its proximity to the Solent make it an ideal location for this show, the site has all the facilities you need for ribbing and with the newly opened A3 tunnel it is conveniently situated to reach by road.

You can expect to see over 70 RIBs on display with a large proportion of these being second hand; this will mean there will be something at the show for all budgets. RIBs will be displayed afloat and ashore giving the public the opportunity to test some of the RIBs.
Entrance and parking to the 2012 show is free and there will be plenty of activities to make it a great day for the family.

It’s good to see somebody putting some effort into a show specifically for used RIBs, and I wish you the best of luck with it.

However, I’m not sure I’d be advertising any alliance with Boats and Outboards

There is of coures the alternative show - based on the "how it looked when I bought it" pics on the project threads on here - the (Ab)used rb show!

We are in talks with a few locations to offer a show in the North of England but this is unlikely to be until 2013. We are confident that this show will be well worth a trip from the North for 2012.
