Nautica RIBs, any good?

We have seen a nautica 12, 2003, I believe its hypalon but not sure.

Its powered by a 40hp and flies.

Just not familiar with the brand.

If I'm not mistaken, Nautica's were made in Florida, primarily aimed for the leisure boat crowd. I believe they were all hypalon boats. Don't really know anything else about them. I don't know anyone who owns one, and have only seen one example, a long time ago.

yep i think you are bang on.

its a 12ft deluxe. has a 40hp yamaha. has a seat in front of centre console and another at bow and a double at the stern.

this one has a really nice ski pole and rocket launcher.

it is hypalon, but it is 12 years old.

The quality seemed to vary from boat to boat. A lot of them were real nice. I had a 25' Nautica with a V8 inboard and a Hamilton jet. That boat was a tank but I have seen a number of others that had serious variances in how the hull was built.
At 12 years old the boat will probably need tubes before too long. There are aftermarket tube builders who make new tubes for the Nauticas and do a real nice job.
