Yep the weapon on the front looks like a G.P.M.G. known by us ex army gentlemen, (well I am)as a gympy. If you get one I will teach you how to use it ,if you want,I used to teach it amungst other things. Many years ago i was on the hard at Poole (when the R.M.s were there,) myself and some R.M.s started talking about weapons and talked about the G.P.M.G. and because I called it a gympy, they called me lots of very rude names, the only printable was pongo, if I had , had any fealings they would have hurt them. In them days they used a lot of Halmatic RIBs

why would these boats need any anti radar stuff on them anyway? we all know they dont like to show up at the best of times - thats we we bolt radar reflectors to them!

I did some work for a company that were testing an 18m rib, it came in different configurations every time I see it, once it had 3x300 mercs on then it came with two on and a large hydrofoil where the third engine used to be, this thing was hydraulic and use to fold down between the two engines, it was also linked into the steering and followed the engine angles and trim. Bloody great big thing, it wasn't for this country and that's all I can tell you

Wonder do they just auction them to anyone? Surely you must need some sort of helo license?? Some of the clearance auctions in the US must be great!
