Need a Toob Repair

I was coming across from bembridge to chichester harbour on Monday cruising at 20 knot and the boat seemed to be pulling to one side, thinking I had managed to pick something up I cut the engine lifted it and the was nothing there so went to carry on my way, but couldn't get back on planthe bow was high and even putting her ladyship right up front still nothing so a long crawl back at 4 knots. It was when we got back to the slipway and but the boat on the trailer after a long fight with it to find water pooring out of the rear starboard tube, there was a slit about 7 inchs long where the last seam is don't know how this could have happened.

So my question is how should I go about repairing this? (it's hypalon)

Dude, I feel your pain! Go to the rib shop he is a member on here.

Or for a diy approach - post some pics to get an idea of what is required

What whisper said. I buggered mine a couple of years ago. Ribshop fixed it in no time, and you'd be hard pressed to even see it.

If you're local to Chichester then give Jamie at JCraft a call, he's just round the corner form the marina and very good.
