Just had a thought(dangerous) When I get my new Landie I intend going all over the place in it - would be great to have a portable boat to take with us for pottering about - cove hopping etc etc - something pretty nippy to take 4 people that packs up fairly small with say an 8hp or maybe even 25hp engine - weight not problem really - just packed up size.
I have the 3.1M high pressure floor deep (!) V (actually measures 3.2 ) with a 6hp Suzuki 4 stroke on the back. It is an amzingly robust package. I have frightened myself with what it can do. With a 9hp Suzuki - the top reccomended by PA Lynch and Co - it would go like a rocket 2 up.
