I kind of let this thread die a little so I could follow up some leads however they have come to a dead end
I still cant get in touch with Neville however i'm informed the dredger (shearwater) is working across in Ireland possibly Belfast area

he also has a couple of ribs that I know he has offered for charter here on rib net so maybe someone has had contact re those

apparently the Shearwater is due back in the fourth in the new year so if people could keep a look out for it around the coast of Scotland & point me in the right direction i'd be most gratefull

H's moved out of registered office, doesn't answer phone , doesn't reply to emails so I guess a personal visit is required

he doesn't owe money but he borrowed some expensive equipment (£10k worth) from a company I do work for & hasn't returned it & now i'm getting the "wheres your mate neville with our gear" so if I can make contact with him i'm sure he will return it

any help appreciated pm me if you don't want to do it on open forum

thanks guys

would appreciate a heads up once the boats back on the mainland coast if anyone spots it

maybe worth a trip over on the ferry anyway

jumpinjack do you know if it ties up at night I wouldn't imagine it works 24/7 Id assume daylight only?

thanks for the info so far

unfortunately AIS tracking is not always 100% accurate I work on ships & you can look up the vessel your on & it shows it somewhere totally different

would be interested to hear from someone who's actually seen the boat

Lol. Nothing as personal as that. Was just seeing what info is online about the shearwater. Second time he's been to Dunbar in the last year and he keeps breaking down and doing a crap job. This thread popped up so passing on the info that was requested.
