New Aircraft 6.8m RIB

This is my first post to introduce my new RIB named "Torro" It's a 6.8m "Aircraft" built by Ian Hidderley ar Liverpool Poweboats. My better half and I trialled the 6.8 at Ribex last year and were so impressed we placed an order after a further demo in Conwy in September. Throughout we've been helped by Ribnet member "Ged", who has been simply brilliant and I can't thank him enough for all his advice and help. Ian has built a simply amazing boat, which we collected at the start of April, and completed PB2 training under the tutelage of Dave Manning (thanks Dave) and we really put ourselves and the boat to the test last week by using it to ferry 60 people in to a remote beach / bothy in the West Highlands for a party, Maybe I'll post a separate thread about that. Torro has a big centre console with 4 seat pods and separate underdeck and console reserve tank. Both feeding an Evinrude 175 ETEC via a separator and filter. My wife Carmel and I are delighted with our first Rib. It's custom built to a really impressive standard and I can definitely recommend Aircraft Ribs to anyone thinking of making a new purchase.

Hello...

Thanks Kim & Susan. I've never been out on the Clyde or Loch Lomond, so there's much for us to see. Hopefully we will be able to meet up on one or other.

where are those images taken?

Hi
Your new boat looks great, keen to know where the lighthouse is?
Not seen that one before.
You certainly got the new boat out in that cold weather - it can only get better from here, we hope.
Paul

The lighthouse is at Penmon Point just off Anglesey, next to Puffin Island

The picture with The Full Morty and Torro tied up - is that Beaumaris pier?
