New Hat!!!

Well just thought I would let you know what I am up to now, incase any of you are that interested.....................am guessing most wont be!!!

Well after being made redundant in Sept and what a time to be made redundant not that any time is good! I am finally back in "proper" work.

Good to see those that I saw at the boat show, JK, Dave Manning, Bogi, Swiss Tony or and I think I saw Garfish about the show.

The new gig is working for Johnson Outdoors, looking after the marine electronics for them so Humminbird, Geonav, Cannon and Minn Kota.
If you have any question on any of that kit please feel free to ask, PM or mail.
Still happy to offer advice and help on other areas of marine electronics.

And beofre any one jumps on the band wagon am already talking to JK about trade membership etc

Cheers

Humminbird NMEA

Jon,

Congrats on new job, Humminbird is great kit that is not in enough use in the UK.

Q. I have a 987cx SI and want to connect the gps tail to a raymarine autopilot but cannot find a reference anywhere to what colours humminbird use for nmea connections.

Kind Regards
KarlT

Karl,

Give Mark a call at the Johnson Outdoors office he will have all that info to hand for you.

Paul,

There are some great images posted on the non officical Side Imaging forums, if you Google you will find them, lots of users post images they have taken up there. Also I will be at the Boat and Caravan Show with the kit on display.

Cheers

Nice to hear you are sorted with gainful employment again Jon.

As I think you are aware, I speak from personal experiance when I say the Marine electronics industry is a little... er.... interesting at the moment, what with the Navico changes etc.

Good luck
