New Jockey Seats

Hello.

After having a "moment" this weekend which led to me sliding off the helm bench seat onto the tube and bouncing back onto the seat at 34 knots (I'm sure the kill cord held me on the boat!!), I've decided to get some jockey seats at last.

Any ideas where I can get some made and fitted in the Plymouth area. I want them to be sturdy and of good quality. I've looked at Outhill (very expensive) and Leeway (too far away).

Thanks Guys.

Jon

Osprey sel seat pods at a very good price, you will need to furnish these yourself though. Is about £150 for a 1m one.

I got a twin jockey from Humber which was quite well made, except that the stainless rivets holding the hinges on pulled out after a couple of months, but that doesn't really bother me too much as it is much easier to get into the compartment with the cushion right off anyway, and it is securely velcroed down.

Price was competitive and they sorted out delivery to the container packing agents while Leeway (who was about the same price) wanted me to collect it FFS

Thanks

I've approached Ribeye and they've quoted me £1208 for two one man jockey seats plus £200 for fitting. Sounds like a rip-off to me!!

S^&^%e I'll say!

My 2 man jockey was £336 ex vat ex works from Humber and it took me about an hour to fit if you exclude the fact I decided to re-run all the wiring, steering, fuel pipes etc through the new seat base to make the deck tidier.
