A quick skim through seems to say they still don't approve of electronic flares and as far as I can see there are no SOLAS approved ones on sale yet??

See, the young 'uns nowadays like to "check-in and get an update on a things status" - if it doesn't Tweet regularly or update it's Insta, it doesn't exist. The CG are trying to be relevant by repeating themselves.

I'll use an example:
Everyone KNOWS that Mrs willk doesn't like me...
She STILL makes a point of reminding folk.

I also note there is no information within regarding frantically waving the wife's HH jacket tied to an extending boathook.

Well, it won't make me change back from carrying 1 x battery powered LED device to hand held red burning pyro, which is nearly impossible to dispose of legally.

Will continue to carry floating orange smoke in case of daytime distress.

Not going back to pyro. They are a nightmare to get rid off, and when I tried a couple that had passed their date they didn’t work which made me question what if?

Carrying smokes and electronic strobe, plus radios, etc.
