New RIB
Thinking of buying second hand RIB, max budget £25,000 +/- 10%. Less than 6 mts long, 80/100/115 hp, suggestions please, and it will need some sort of floatation device to keep it in a marina

Depending on spec & toys, you are into new/ex-demo territory at that budget & size. The worlds your lobster. What kind of layout are you looking for?

I've got a humber destroyer with all the bells and whistles on it 5.3m it floats already so no need for a flotation device for it

Great budget for under 6m. I'm anticipating a feeding frenzy of offers and suggestions!
Take a look at Ribeye A550 and A600. Very well spec'd, good seating layout and have great reputation. This is the only used A550 on the market as far as I'm aware. https://www.ribeye.co.uk/approved-us...ts/ribeye-a550
Regards flotation device, then versadock or similar do come up for sale second hand from time to time.

Thanks for the input, I narrowed my selection down to Ribeye and Ribcraft. I was quite keen to view the new Ribcraft 600 but when I rang the factory no one was available that could help or even give me a price or knew anything about it. Nearly as bad as their website which directs you to a 10.5 metre when you want to look at the brochure details of the 6.0 metre rib. The best they could do was suggest I ring back in a fortnight when someone returns from holiday, I think his name was Dave!
So, Ribeye here I come, I rang the factory and said really the only time I could make it was a Saturday morning, No problem said a very helpful guy named Ross. What a totally different reception, he showed me the various new and second hand boats available and then asked if I would like to be shown around the production factory as well as the finishing area. Very interesting.
I discussed different deals new and secondhand but Ribeye seem to hold their price so well that it made sense to buy a new boat especially as he offered me the boat show deal. So I have a new A600 with a Yamaha 115 due to be delivered in April - can’t wait

Nice one. We picked our A600 up from Ribeye just before xmas and we are super happy with it. Ross and everyone else we dealt with at Ribeye from first meeting them at the Southampton boat show were an absolute pleasure to do business with. A real family business where nothing is too much trouble. I'm sure you'll enjoy the whole process and you'll love the boat

Totally agree. Ross, Danny, Rudie, Matt actually everyone I’ve met at Ribeye is helpful, knowledgable and loves the product. An excellent team and business. We bought a new a600 with 150 Yamaha last year. Don’t forget with a new one you get to chose the colour ways / spec too which was loads of fun before we even picked her up.

We're combining a week down in Dartmouth with having our A600 serviced by Ribeye and having a day of advanced instruction with Matt. It'll be nice to explore the local coast in the area too.
