Indeed, i've had a few customers ask for a longer tube when fitting V6 onto a smaller hull.

<edited after correction received from Pete 7. Thanks, Pete>
For those of you who don’t know the story behind the tube saga, please feel free to contact the other Jono or me by PM or E-mail and we will give you what details that you feel you need.
What I will say is that the original fit was rushed through by the first supplier to meet an unrealistic delivery date and was delivered in the dark. Always a big mistake! When the problem of fit was discovered, much, much later, I would state that the original tube supplier reacted in a reasonable and professional manner. However I suggest that the first fitting knocked the customer’s confidence and as he was not comfortable with the second fitting, he chose to have a set of tubes made elsewhere.
We, at PBS are still happy to use either Tube builder and currently have boats with both of them.
<corrected after information given by Pete>
If you wish to purchase the tubes that Jono has, I would suggest that you contact him directly and he will be happy to do a deal with you, no doubt.

Yup this boat exists... or did exist... or will exist..... In fact this boat will exist in any colour you want.. you do want a Shakey, don't you?
I'll tell you what... you buy "The Boat".. and I'll guarantee that we can make "Jono's tubes" be any colour you want....

Thanks Steve, so just to clarify someone is selling the hull on Ebay and Jono Garton has a set of tubes for sale which were taken of No Fears hull (which happens to be the same size ) and its transpired (thanks to the other Jono) that these tubes do not actually fit ! but Jono Garton has told the forum that No Fear has changed his tubes because he wants to mount a 150 hp engine !
