New Ring 13 mtr Rib

Thought you might like a look at mike Rings 13 mtr hulls quite a bit of kit!!!

There's one of these at Kip fitted with twin Volvos of around 450hp each. Sits very high out of the water and goes like poo off a shovel.

is the 13m ring with the 450 inboards , owned by those mad Scotish brothers.... who had an 8.5 tornado with 315 Yanmar and choclate 3 X drive??? I just cant think of there names ....

So how fast is "poo off a shovel"? With 900hp onboard it should be fairly hectic!

The hull was built just round the corrner from me from but judgeing from the colour of the hull and the amount of BHP and the fact that it carries 5 tons of fuel, i think we all know where this rib is going.

Where would that be........just because someone wants to and has the finances to build a big rib with long range tanks could they not just be wanting to cruise?

Agree, most of the Ring that we deliver in Sweden has huge tanks, ok that most of them is for charter but with 30,000 islands in Stockholm achipelago of an area of 200km X 100km and not gasstations around every corner its nedeed here.

The first picture is Dk Grey hull and tubes, and from speaking to the makers
a lot, go to north africa ? lets face it why would you want 5 tons of petrol and 1000hp

They use the boat to go from one bar to another as quick as possible. A great pair of guys who have a mean voice too. Not everyones cup of tea but great company and excellent seaman.They proberbly wouldnt take to kindly to any accusations of illegal dealings!!! Alan P
