What are the two straps than run forward to aft and og on the inside of the foot straps?

Oh and I always find a good powerful Jetwash gives you a decent head start with Antifoul

cheers, the deck wasnt too bad underneath the old paint so ran with that, loads of polish the old gel coat came up superbly, the non slip stuff was international paints, made a anchor locker for the forward section, this time the fit is even tighter, but have only Sikaflexed it in NOT fibreglassed as well as i think that will be more than strong enough to take a bat fastard jumping up and down on it.
the original consol is going to be used as they are so good, i tried the jet wash on the antifowl and came up well, now its upside down, will try again.
also having an original low style a frame made (pic enclosed) and new seat covers, should be great for some summer cruising!!

Daft question Matt. On the photo of the SR upside down is the antifoul where the waterline should be? Didn't know how good the previous owner had done it?
If it is could you post a photo of the spray rails on the bow so I know how far down I have to paint mine?
Thanks

Sorry not to have replied earlier.Bought the 4 metre as had never been on one and because of its reputation felt it may be a perfect rib to take to France to see the coastline.Having used it found it great fun and easy but engine to old.when the 5.4 searider came up from Neil thought it would get me back in the water quickly and whilst looking for an outboard came across a pair of 40 hp four strokes on the back of a 1996 searider that the seller wanted to sell off everything sepperately so agreed a price for all and boat.the seller seamed genuine and i bought it in good faith with the absolute assurance both engines were execellent .the seller is an absolute sh-t and dishonest i have had to spend 4oo pound on one engine and the other is having a total rebuild .so am sorry to say it will be about three weeks before its in the water but i hope it will be a good combination.I,m not looking for speed ,but good slow speed handling, easey launching and sea handling and economy with good range,If all works out well it will be used for training and a second if required boat for the the Felixstowe inshore patrol service(Guardian rescue)The boats transome is original as it was made to take twins with one elephants trunk in the centre.it started life as a police boat in Norfolk

chewy, will take a better pic of the waterline for you, it was done by the MOD , they painted over the attached sealife which will make it difficult to remove, but it will be as new when finished.
Murph, picked up A Yam 90 02 model which is great as found the original dataplate also showing the Hull to be of the same age.yeeeha

Matt, can you tell me where you got the battery isolator with external fuse box from or is it something you have made up yourself?
With thanks....

so i can keep live bait in!! no its the radio cover and GPS mount, still experimenting with it at the moment, will probally go with that system, its actually a cut down postage scale stand made of 7mm perpex of sort, and it will be painted grey,NOS,what do you think of it?? The Fuse box its a Blue Sea 6 pole fuse system with a commercial Junc box with a Marine isolator switch, the box has quick release fastenings not the small self tappers,
